Dr. Walker grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia. He specializes in orthopedic sports medicine and has expertise in arthroscopic surgery, biosurgical treatment of cartilage injuries, orthopedic trauma and joint replacement.

 

After graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Dr. Walker received his medical degree from Georgetown University where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.

 

Dr. Walker completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California San Francisco. He joined The Orthopedic Group in August 2014 after completing nine years of active duty service in the U.S. Air Force.

 

Dr. Walker’s practice experience includes assignments in Japan, Germany and California as well as deployments to Serbia and Afghanistan.

 

He served as the Chief of Orthopedic Services at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany providing care for injured and wounded service members.
